About the SAEM Medical Student Testing Service

SAEM is the academic arm for the specialty of Emergency Medicine.  SAEM has an Undergraduate Education Committee in which one of the objectives has been to develop a useful question bank.  Stephen Thomas, M.D., has chaired a subcommittee that has been working on this for several years.  Through many individuals' dedicated hard work, not only has a 500 question, question bank been developed, but an online testing tool has been developed that every Emergency Medicine Clerkship Director has access to.

This online testing tool was introduced at the 2005 SAEM Annual Meeting.  Each clerkship director will have the option of whether or not to use it, as well as to allow the medical students taking the tests to receive emails of their completed tests.
