Updates to SAEM Medical Student Testing

September 1, 2006- The testing has been moved over to a new server, complete with a new domain name.  This was done so that the necessary changes could be made in the background, without disruption of the previous testing site.

September 1, 2006- All tests are new, with their makeup based on difficulty and validity statistics developed as each question is answered.  Two general tests were made, comprised of new questions in which difficulty and validity statistics are not known.

October 24, 2006- The two General Tests were thrown out, due to their poor scoring.  Questions from these two tests with the highest validity were used to make a new General Test, a 25 question test.  The expected score on this test is 65%, based on the question statistics.

November 4, 2006- Added a Lost Password function that will return an ID and Password to the email it was assigned to.  For this to work your Clerkship had to add your email to the system.
